This farm is just a few miles from our home. They make their own homemade ice cream. I wondered why they had such a big parking lot. Now I know...
This farmhouse was built in the late 1700s. (Crazy, huh?) It is still a working farm. The people come from miles around to sample the amazing ice cream.
There's always a line. It moves fast.
Chocolate Thunder for me. (Triple the chocolate.) It's so good, I can't bring myself to try any other flavor!
"I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream!!"
Ooo...
Aaahh...
Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro' the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watch'd, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro' the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
Woodside was one of our favorites! This is where Curren, as a baby, ate his first ice cream cone!! Our friends live just off of North Star Rd, and we lived just 10 minutes away from there, down Pike Creek Rd.
